Rashid accuses PML-N of poll rigging RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid accused rival Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) of ‘pre-planned’ rigging for by-election in National Assembly constituency NA-55 held here on Wednesday.

However, he said that he would not take up the rigging incidents before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Addressing a news conference, AML chief Rashid said that local administration was used for the rigging purpose.

“We don’t have personal differences with anyone. We have political differences,” he said.

He alleged that all his party’s wagons were captured by Punjab Police while some of his weak supporters were coerced to change their loyalties.

Rashid further said that all politicians should take a lesion from the by-election in NA-55.
